フィンランドの Melodic Doom Metal / Gothic Metal / Melodic Death Metal の3rdアルバム。

Shape Of Despair、Impaled Nazarene、Diablerie、Counting Hours、Finntroll、Thy Serpent、などのTomi Ullgrén、Samu Ruotsalainenによるバンド。

前作でサイドギターとベースが変わり、Fragilehollow / Rain Paint / Diablerie などのAleksi Ahokasと現在EnsiferumのベーシストSami Hinkkaが加入。ヴォーカルのPetri EskelinenはクリーンVo担当になり、Rain Paint / Diablerie のHenri Villbergがグロウル／ハーシュVo担当で加入した。

フィンランド式の悲哀・寂寞メロディがアトモスフェリックにメランコリックに広がる劇的サウンドに変わりない。スロー／ミドルテンポのシンプルなビートに美しく切ない叙情ギターメロディ、歌うグロウルと寂し気なクリーンVoのダブルヴォーカルがダークロマンティックに展開される。ヴォーカルが2人体制になり、メロディアスさや劇的さが増した。クリーンヴォーカルを大幅に活かしたフィンランド式ゴシックメタル色が濃厚になった作風。

ゴシックメタル版、メロディック・ドゥームメタル版、聴きやすいShape Of Despair。

ドロドロしていないキレイ目メロディック・ドゥームメタル、ゴシックな遅いメロディック・デスメタル、フィンランドのメランコリック・メタル好きは必聴の傑作。

【ディスク】多めに細かな薄いスレ・キズ有り。再生には問題無し。
【プラケース】きれい。
